Beta Site Launched and Bingo.com Traffic Increased by 88%
Thursday, December 16th, 1999, Tallahassee, FL. – Bingo.com Inc. (OTC BB:BIGR) shows web traffic (user sessions) increased by 88% as a result of the beta release of the Play-4-Free games for the North American market and the new web site.
The new Bingo.com site (http://www.bingo.com) was released late Monday, December 13th and provides Bingo.com registered users with a variety of free games and other forms of entertainment including chat, sweepstakes, BingoGrams, BingoFortune and more. The games are Play-4-Free and therefore cost nothing to play. The more often you play the more Bingo Bucks registered users can win, which are redeemable for SuperCertificates via a premier prize partnership with GiftCertificates.com. The first 25,000 registered users during the month of December will also receive a $10 SuperCertificate, and be entered to win $1999. This is just the start of many great events with Bingo.com.
The number of visitors to Bingo.com has dramatically increased as people are learning about the new beta site and Play-4-Free games for North America. Just preceding the launch the old site traffic was showing an average of 68,870 hits and 7,764 page views per day. After the launch of the new beta site, the first full day, December 14th, showed 1,336,648 hits and 105,115 page views. This shows web traffic increasing by 1250% from the last few days of the old site to the first day of the new one. User sessions moved from 4,196 on the old site to 7,907 on the new site, which is up 88%. This is translating to approximately 1,870 new registered users each day. The average length of each visit has grown 200% from an average of just over 10 minutes on the old site to an average visit length of over 30 minutes on the new site. This shows that 88% more people are visiting the site and staying for on average 30 minutes each. Bingo.com also reports running over 64,700 paid banner ads within the first fully reporting twenty-four hour period of December 14th. Bingo.com expects all of these numbers to increase as more people find out about the site through additional marketing and promotion activities.
